Professor Vaira Vīķe-Freiberga joins EAD's International Honorary Council

We are proud to announce that Professor Vaira Vīķe-Freiberga has joined the International Honorary Council of the European Academy of Diplomacy. Professor Vīķe-Freiberga is the former President of the Republic of Latvia (1999­2007) and the current President of the World Leadership Alliance – ­Club de Madrid, an organization of former presidents and prime ministers which include 4 other members of the EAD’s International Honorary Council -­ President Valdas Adamkus, Professor Jerzy Buzek, President Aleksander Kwaśniewski and Professor Hanna Suchocka.
