Hazem is a third-year International Bachelor History student at Erasmus University Rotterdam, with a focus area of International Relations. He has completed a minor course of The Political Economy of European Integration. His research interests include, the shifting geopolitical position of the European Union in the new world order, political shifts in the Middle East in the decolonization period and the modern history of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Hazem has now completed a 3 month internship in the International Programs department at the European Academy of Diplomacy, and is currently an assistant at the Executive Education department.
