Participant Profile
The Academy of Young Diplomats is offered only to a selected cohort of approximately 120 promising talents from around the world. Through a highly competitive recruitment process, we admit graduate students and young professionals of the very highest academic caliber and with a proven track-record.
You are an ideal candidate if you care about:

Admission Requirements
Fit in the AYD Participant Profile.
Fit in the age limit: 18 – 39.
BA University Degree/Relevant Diploma courses/Relevant work experience
English proficiency, at least C1 level (assessed on a case-by-case basis depending on the interview, we encourage candidates who do not meet this language requirement to still submit their application.).**
Graduation Requirements
In order to obtain the Executive Diploma in the Art of Diplomacy (EDAD), AYD Participant must meet the following requirements:
Attend at least 6 out of 8 Sessions (see rules and regulations)
Pass the Final Exam
Submit and successfully pass a Policy Paper between 1,000 and 2,000 words.

Casimir Pulaski Foundation Scholarship
Since 2005, Casimir Pulaski Foundation (CPF) – a leading Polish think-tank, that specializes in foreign policy and international security has been collaborating with the European Academy of Diplomacy as the founder of the Casimir Pulaski Scholarships. Since 2005 the CPF has awarded more than 100 scholarships to the best candidates for the Academy of Young Diplomats.
In 2027 academic year, the Foundation shall award up to 2 full and 4 partial scholarships to the best candidates for the 23rd edition of the Academy of Young Diplomats. The final decisions will be made by the Board of the Foundation. The scholarship program is addressed to all AYD applicants from all over the world. Decisions will be need-based with the intention of offering scholarships to as many applicants as possible.
The Scholarship covers the Program Tuition Fee, which includes
- 4 Sessions in Warsaw
- 4 Online Sessions
- All course materials
- Inauguration and Graduation Ceremony with VIP Guests
- 140 hours of hands-on diplomatic training
- Study Visits
- Meetings of Leadership Development Groups

Please be advised that the scholarship does not cover the costs of accommodation, visa, insurance and travel expenses.

Requirements
All CPF Scholarship Applicants must meet the official requirements of admission to the Academy of Young Diplomats program. Additional application requirements include:
- CV
- Motivation letter
- 3 recommendation letters
All the above documents must be submitted in order to be considered for the scholarship.
In addition, CPF Scholarship applicants are expected to:
- Have a stellar academic track-record
- Contribute dynamically to their communities and society
- Be committed to the program values (respect and dialogue, global openness, promotion of ethical leadership)
Please note that the decision of the scholarship committee will also take into account the financial situation of the applicant.

Application timeline: 7th of April, 2026 to 27th of April, 2026.
Information about the results will be announced by the 1st of June 2026.
EAD Scholarships for Forum of Young Diplomats (FMD) Members
As part of the cooperation between the Forum of Young Diplomats and the European Academy of Diplomacy, scholarships are awarded to the most committed FMD Members, allowing them to participate in the Academy of Young Diplomats.
