Global politics is entering a period of profound transformation. Shifting alliances, strategic competition between major powers, and growing economic fragmentation are redefining the environment in which businesses operate.
Participants will explore the geopolitical forces likely to shape markets, investment decisions, international expansion, and corporate strategy in the years ahead. They will gain practical frameworks for interpreting geopolitical developments and assessing their implications for business.
Prof. Katarzyna Pisarska is the Chair of the Warsaw Security Forum, one of the four co-founders of the Casimir Pulaski Foundation and the Chairwoman of the Foundation’s Council. She is also the Founder and Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the European Academy of Diplomacy. She pursues research and teaching as Associate Professor at Warsaw School of Economics. Finally, she holds a number of positions in organizations outside of Poland, including Vice President and Board Member of the European Forum Alpbach in Austria, a Senior Fellow at the Center for European Policy Analysis in Washington D.C. and an Expert of the World Economic Forum in Switzerland.

Participants will examine how effective decision-making processes, resilient leadership, and strategic clarity can be applied to business environments facing uncertainty and rapid change.
Lt Gen (R) Ben Hodges is the former Commanding General of US Army Europe (2014-2017). He is affiliated with the New Strategy Center in Bucharest, the Warsaw Security Forum in Warsaw, and GLOBSEC in Prague. He serves on several civic advocacy Advisory Boards including Renew Democracy Initiative, Atlantik Bruecke, Arthur Burns Fellowship, Razom for Ukraine, Veterans Help Group, and Spirit of America. General Hodges has a regular presence on US and international media. He offers insight and analysis on NATO, US and European security, the Russian War against Ukraine, the greater Black Sea and Baltic Sea Regions, the Israel-Hamas war, the Trump Administration policies and its implications for Transatlantic Security.
The distinction between national security and business strategy is becoming increasingly blurred. Organizations today face risks ranging from geopolitical disruption to cyber threats and systemic crises.
During this Masterclass, participants will explore how principles of national security planning can strengthen organizational resilience, crisis preparedness, and strategic leadership.
Prof. Jacek Siewiera is a former Secretary of State and Head of the National Security Bureau of Poland, where he served as National Security Advisor to the President during the war in Ukraine (2022–2025). His unique interdisciplinary background as a medical doctor, lawyer, and Polish Army lieutenant colonel (ret.) has shaped his expertise in national security, dual-use technologies, and crisis management. He played a key role in defining Poland’s defense posture, armament policy, and NATO-level cooperation.

Participants will discover practical approaches to strategic foresight, scenario planning, and long-term thinking that support better decision-making in uncertain environments.
Aleksandra Pędraszewska is an experienced technology entrepreneur and investor. As a partner at vastpoint, she invests in seed-stage companies. She works to develop the Polish innovation ecosystem as a member of the Startup Poland board and the Council for the Future under the Prime Minister of Poland. She gained unique operational experience at ElevenLabs, where, during a period of rapid growth, she led AI security initiatives and managed strategic partnerships. Previously, as co-founder and COO of a deep-tech start-up and “Britain’s best tech pioneer”, she secured $25m in funding and built the company’s international client network. She is a graduate of the University of Cambridge.

Participants will explore the implications of these changes for growth, competitiveness, investment, and long-term strategy while identifying opportunities in a more fragmented global economy.
Prof. Marcin Piątkowski is an international economist specializing in economic development, innovation, and competitiveness, with senior experience across global institutions and government advisory roles, and a global authority on Poland’s successful growth model and the lessons learned for other countries. He is Professor of Economics at Kozminski University in Warsaw, the highest ranked business school in Central and Eastern Europe, and a former World Bank’s Lead Economist, who over the past twenty years advised almost twenty governments on private sector development, including in China, India, Viet Nam, the Philippines, Mongolia, Nepal, Ukraine, Latvia, and Poland. He is also a visiting lecturer at Peking University’s Guanghua School of Management, China’s leading business school.
Technology has become a central arena of geopolitical competition. Artificial intelligence, space technologies, advanced manufacturing, and strategic industries increasingly influence economic and national power.
Participants will examine how technological change is reshaping competitive dynamics and what business leaders should understand about the strategic implications of innovation.
Prof. Grzegorz Brona is a physicist and entrepreneur shaping Europe’s space capabilities. He worked at CERN on the Large Hadron Collider, contributing to the discovery of the Higgs boson. He is co-founder and CEO of Creotech Instruments, delivering satellite platforms for the European Space Agency, public institutions and defence, and participating in major EU initiatives such as IRIS². Former President of the Polish Space Agency, he has played a key role in advancing Poland’s position within the European space ecosystem. Under his leadership, Creotech has scaled rapidly and joined the mWIG40 index.
