The Council of Europe is a key partner of the Visegrád School of Political Studies, whose programs target young politicians at local and national levels, civil servants, civil society leaders, and journalists. The School’s seminars cover topics such as European integration, globalization, democratization processes, frozen conflicts, intercultural dialogue and reconciliation, free elections, the strengthening of democratic institutions, and civil society development.

With the support of the Council of Europe, the School’s participants attend the World Forum for Democracy in Strasbourg each year; the event brings together over 650 participants and experts, including heads of state and government, representatives of European institutions and French authorities, and academics from European and global research centers.

The International Visegrad Fund is one of the key partners of the Visegrad School of Political Studies project. It is an international organization based in Bratislava, established in 2000 by the governments of four countries: the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, and Hungary.

Thanks to the Fund’s generous support, the EAD has been able to provide full scholarships to over 220 outstanding young leaders from the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, the Eastern Partnership countries, Russia, and the Western Balkans.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland is a long-standing partner of the EAD. We are proud to have the support of the Ministry’s Department of Public and Cultural Diplomacy for the Visegrad School of Political Studies programs: “Visegrad Meets the Eastern Partnership” and “Visegrad School Meets Russia.”

The EAD also collaborates with the Diplomatic Protocol, offering Polish language courses and social media training to embassy staff and diplomats accredited in Warsaw.

The Konrad Adenauer Foundation has been a partner of the EAD since 2010 and supports two of our programs. One is the Academy of Young Diplomats, which brings together over 200 young professionals and graduates annually who wish to hone their skills in diplomacy, law, and international security; KAS supports the Academy’s off-site session.

The Foundation also co-organizes the European Diplomacy Workshops: Eastern Partnership, aimed at individuals interested in the European Neighbourhood Policy, Eastern policy, the Eastern Partnership, challenges in the post-Soviet space and the Caucasus, frozen conflicts, and energy security.

The National School of Public Administration is an institutional partner of the Young Diplomats Academy program and a number of other projects, including the International Forum on Diplomatic Training—the 42nd Meeting of Deans and Directors of Diplomatic Academies and Institutes of International Relations. The School was established by the government of Tadeusz Mazowiecki in 1990. KSAP’s mission is to educate and prepare civil servants and senior administrative staff for public service within the administration of the Republic of Poland.

The Freedom Games (Igrzyska Wolności) is a leading festival of ideas in Central and Eastern Europe and the only event of its kind in Poland open to the general public. This interdisciplinary forum unites people around democratic values ​​and a vision of a world grounded in freedom of choice, economic rationality, culture, and dialogue. Through panel discussions, author meetings, speeches, workshops, concerts, and artistic performances, it brings together representatives from the worlds of culture, business, and public life—both from Poland and abroad.

The Liberté! Foundation is an interdisciplinary cultural and social organization and think tank that has been active in Poland since 2007. The Foundation aims to serve as an advocate for an open society, rational economic views, and liberal culture in Poland. Its primary long-term goal is to create diverse tools for driving genuine liberal change and building public support for it. The Foundation strives to become a comprehensive, interdisciplinary institution capable of effectively educating citizens in the spirit of respect for the rule of law, human rights, market economy principles, and European integration. In its cultural activities, it seeks to implement ambitious—and often niche—projects that it considers worthy of presentation to a wider audience.
