The Fourth Session of the 2026 Academy of Young Diplomats took place on March 13–14 online. The session centred around the topic "The EU in the World: Neighbourhood, Transatlantic & Global Partnerships", bringing together political figures and experts who offered diverse perspectives on key international and public policy issues.

The session opened on Friday with an online study visit to the Council of Europe. The evening featured Global Talks with Minister Vuk Jeremić – Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia (2007–2012), President of the 67th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (2012–2013), and President of the Center for International Relations and Sustainable Development (CIRSD) – moderated by Marcin Bużański.

On Saturday, participants took part in two rounds of Specialisation Classes on the following topics:

  • Working in IO's: budget and human resources (challenges, problems, practice) - Jagoda Walorek
  • Introduction to International Multilateral Negotiations - Ron Ton
  • Information Security: Using Open-Source Tools to Identify and Expose Disinformation - Givi Gigitashvili
  • Europe’s Security of Today and Tomorrow. Hybrid threats, EU Security Agenda, and President Donald Trump’s stance toward Europe - Prof. Justyna Zając

Following the session, on March 16, the Academy hosted a Leadership Lecture with Rania Al-Mashat – Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), former Minister of Planning, Economic Development & International Cooperation of Egypt (2024–2026), Minister of International Cooperation (2019–2024), and Minister of Tourism (2018–2019) – moderated by Prof. Katarzyna Pisarska.
