The EU Migration and Refugee Crisis – perspectives from Visegrad & Germany

The European Academy of Diplomacy (EAD), in cooperation with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and Jagiellonian University, organises an international conference “The EU Migration and Refugee Crisis – perspectives from Visegrad & Germany”. This one day event will take place on Saturday, 14th January 2017, at the Auditorium Maximum of the Jagiellonian University.

The conference is part of the 13th edition of the Academy of Young Diplomats (AYD) program. The conference agenda includes the following modules:

  • Managing the EU migration and refugee crisis: lessons learned & challenges ahead.

  • Perceptions of immigration in V4 & Germany: is solidarity among states and people possible inside the EU?

  • Refugees, islamophobia and the rise of far-right parties in Europe – why should we be worried?

Our event includes guests from Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Poland and Tunisia.

Partners of the Conference include: Jagiellonian University, Konrad Adenauer Foundation, Robert Bosch Stiftung, Fundacja Współpracy Polsko-Niemieckiej, Szkoła Główna Handlowa w Warszawie, Visegrad School of Political Studies, Council of Europe.

The conference expands the range of knowledge on the subject of the EU migration and refugee crisis thanks to international speakers.
