Ambassador ad personam, former Vice-director in the Department of Protocol in the Polish MFA. In the MFA since 1973. Counselor-Minister and Minister in Polish Embassy in Brussels, plenipotentiary ambassador of Poland to Switzerland and Lichtenstein (2005-2007). Currently Polish Ambassador to Finland. Member of the EAD Council of Ambassadors.
