Dr. Katarzyna Pisarska is the Founder and Director of the European Academy of Diplomacy and the Visegrad School of Political Studies. From 2004 she has transformed two “start-up” institutions into international renowned diplomatic and leadership schools, with over 7000 Alumni coming from 50 countries. Throughout her career she has inspired and led change within a number of organizations including the Council of Europe and the Community of Democracies.
In addition to her leadership and management experience Dr. Pisarska pursues a career in academia. Having a Ph.D in economics, she is an Associate Professor at the Warsaw School of Economics and a Visiting Professor at the ADA University in Baku. Previously, Dr. Pisarska was a Fulbright Visiting Fellow at Harvard University (2007), a Visiting Scholar at Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS)(2010) at the University of Oslo, Norway (2012) and at the Australian National University in Canberra (2015).
Dr. Pisarska has extensive training experience in the area of leadership, effective management and EU studies. Since 2010 she has trained over 800 civil servants and corporate management in 10 countries.
