Participants of the VSPS Migration Program at the World Forum of Democracy
On 19-21 November 2018, the participants of the VSPS Migration Program took part in the World Forum of Democracy, held in Strasbourg, France.
Besides attending the official Forum events program, participants had the opportunity to discuss the migration crisis with the experts invited by our sister school, the Symβiosis School from Thessaliniki, with a first-hand experience in handling the migration crisis: Abdullah Al Mullasulleman (Iraqi refugee relocated to France, sports trainer, IT), Magdalini – Margarita Lappa (education manager), Dionysia Lampiri (Municipality of Athens Migration Centre Coordinator), Efterpi Gelastopoulou (SolidarityNow NGO senior social work), Dorothea Kokozidou (Municipality of Thessaloniki refugee coordinator, UNHCR, lawyer), Adila Munir Mahmud Abdelrasoul (psychologist, second generation migrant, Almassar NGO), Falilat Connie Adenuga (communication expert, second generation migrant, Generation 2.0 NGO), Aikaterini Salta (sports and refugees manager) and Argyro Kovlakidou (OMNES NGO senior social work).
