The Alumni of the Year Award is an annual recognition given to exceptional graduates of the Academy. This award is our way of honoring the remarkable professional and academic accomplishments of our alumni, who continue to make us proud.
The recipients of this award are chosen for their dedication to upholding the values of the European Academy of Diplomacy: Respect & Dialogue, Co-ownership, Empowerment, and Ethical Engagement.
This year, we were honored to present the Alumni of the Year Award to Ms. Oliwia Aziz. Oliwia is the Founder and President of the #Nottooyoung Foundation. Currently, she is a fifth-year law student at the University of Warsaw. Her outstanding achievements include receiving the Sur-Place scholarship from the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and being a two-time recipient of the Prime Minister’s Scholarship. Oliwia has also won the ‘Młoda Polka’ competition in the media category. In 2023, she made history as the youngest candidate on the Warsaw list of the Civic Coalition during the Polish parliamentary elections.
The dedication and impact Oliwia has demonstrated at such a young age are truly inspiring. As the Academy, we are proud to present the Alumni of the Year 2024 Award, to a wonderful leader and graduate of the Academy of Young Diplomats 2020/2021 edition. We have no doubt that Oliwia will continue to make significant contributions to society, and we eagerly anticipate celebrating her future achievements.
