Economic Diplomacy

Economic Diplomacy program aims to provide young professionals and academia representatives with a refined skill-set, specific knowledge, and genuine experience in the growing field of economic diplomacy so as to further their internationally minded careers. The course achieves its core objectives by combining intensive lectures and interactive training modules with detailed analysis of current trade and investment issues through economic, political, legal, and cultural lenses. Hands-on exercises and simulations allow participants to apply the theoretical concepts in practice and confront them with the difficulties related to multilateral negotiations in the area of trade and others.

• Introduction to economic diplomacy, relation to commercial diplomacy, main actors and institutions involved in economic diplomacy
• International trade deals (DDA, TTIP, TPP)
