English language course B2

European Academy of Diplomacy offers a unique course of English language on B2 level. It will help you expand your language skills and let you hold a conversation in English. Thanks to the experience of our lecturers and innovative methods of teaching you will notice big progress in a short time. The course puts particular emphasis on politics, economy, international affairs and media issues. Therefore it is a perfect choice for diplomats as well as professionals from international business, public administration and third sector.

In spring semester 2019/2020 classes are held on: Mondays and Wednesdays 18:00-19:30

EFFECTS:

• participants expand their vocabulary with particular emphasis on international issues,
• participants improve their conversational skills and overcome public speaking fears while talking about current issues,
• participants better analyse foreign press releases,
• participants learn how to create official correspondence in English,
• participants learn details about MFA language exam (optional).

Subject

The aim of the course is to familiarize participants with vocabulary regarding political, social and media issues as well as to let them maintain contact with live language.

Methodology

Our language courses put emphasis on conversations and practical use of language. They include multiple speaking exercises. Participants not only learn new vocabulary and language constructions but also improve skills which they already developed. The specifically tailored program help master all the most necessary skills and ensures individual approach towards students. Our groups consist of up to 12 people.

Materials

Educational materials included in course price. Participants work with current press articles (e.g. The Economist, The Guardian, BBC).
