B2 English Language Course

The European Academy of Diplomacy offers a semester-long English language course. The course helps expand participants' language skills and makes communicating in another language easier, with particular emphasis on vocabulary related to international relations.

DESCRIPTION

Classes are led by instructors experienced in group teaching; we use modern teaching methods that help participants learn key phrases and useful vocabulary. The knowledge gained during the course will improve language skills and give participants more confidence in speaking on a variety of topics. The course can also serve as a first step toward successfully passing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) language exam.

In the fall semester, classes will take place on the following schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:15 PM – 6:45 PM.

OUTCOMES

• Participants will expand their press-related vocabulary connected to international affairs.
• Participants will improve their conversational skills and confidence in discussing current events.
• Participants will become better at analyzing foreign-language press reviews.
• Participants will learn the principles of writing official correspondence in English.
• Participants will know what the MFA language exam looks like and how to approach it (optional).

Topics

The course aims to introduce participants to political, press, and social vocabulary, while also helping them maintain active contact with the language.

Methodology

The semester-long language courses focus on conversation and the practical aspects of language learning through speaking exercises and sentence/structure building. Participants not only learn new words and phrases but also maintain their existing language skills. The proprietary program is designed to hone the language abilities of course participants. Instructors take an individual approach to each learner. Small groups of up to 12 participants.

Proprietary training and educational materials included in the price. Work with current press materials (e.g. The Economist, The Guardian, BBC).

Schedule

In the spring semester 2026/2027, classes will take place on the following schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM (unconfirmed).

Price

• 1,600 PLN (VAT exempt)
• 1,800 PLN (VAT exempt) with installment payment — two installments of 900 PLN each
