Highlights from the 3rd Session of the Academy of Young Diplomats 2023/2024 (19-20 January) 

The session offered a unique, enriching experience with engaging activities and discussions to broaden participants’ understanding of international relations.

Commencing with an enlightening study visit to the International Court of Justice (ICJ), participants delved into the institution’s history and missions, gaining valuable insights.

A highlight of the weekend was a lecture featuring Þórdís Kolbrún Reykfjörð Gylfadóttir, Minister of Finance and Economy of Iceland. The discussion revolved around Iceland’s contemporary role in the world, shedding light on the challenges and opportunities the country and the world face, particularly in terms of security.
