Lecture and discussion by Prof. Jeffrey Sachs, Special Adviser to the United Nations Secretary General
Over the weekend, we hosted the first session of the Academy of Young Diplomats, starting with a lecture on China’s growing global role on Friday. Saturday’s highlight was the lecture and discussion by Prof. Jeffrey Sachs, Special Adviser to the United Nations Secretary General, Professor at Columbia University, titled “Implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) – challenges and opportunities ahead.”
The program also included specialization workshops on Public Diplomacy, UN, NATO and the EU in crisis management, Diplomatic Security, Leadership, Mentoring and Networking.
