We kindly invite you to participate in a joint conference of the European Academy of Diplomacy, Konrad Adenauer Foundation and the Faculty of Political Studies of Maria Skłodowska-Curie University in Lublin titled „Building The New Central Europe: Visegrad States and Germany”. The conference will be held under Honorary Patronage of Mr. Sławomir Sosnowski, the Marshal of the Lublin Voivodeship and Mr. Krzysztof Żuk, President of the Lublin City.
The event will take place on 16th January, 10:00-17:00 at Hall 13 (Department of Law and Administration UMCS, pl. Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie 5).
The opening lecture „A Europe Whole and Free: Unravelling Before Our Very Eyes?” will be presented by the guest of honour, Mr. Roland Fruedenstein, Director of the Wilfried Martens Centre for European Studies.
The conference is devoted to the policies of the Visegrad Group and Germany in relation to current events and challenges that must be overcome within the regions of Central Europe. This includes shaping common response to the Europe’s refugee crisis, the challenges faced by up-coming democracies and energy security.
The program of the conference will be made available soon. The conference will be conducted in the English language.
