We are pleased to announce the completion of International Conference, held on 15th-17th of January in Lublin. The conference titled: “Building the New Central Europe: Visegrad states and Germany” was organized by the European Academy of Diplomacy, Konrad Adenauer Foundation and the Faculty of Political Studies of Maria Skłodowska-Curie University in Lublin. From 30th November to 5th December the European Academy of Diplomacy – in cooperation with Konrad Adenauer Stiftung and PZU SA – held the 2015 Fall European Diplomacy Workshop: Eastern Partnership. The EDW is a forum for the exchange of experiences, discussing challenges and developing cooperation between emerging leaders from the EU, Eastern Partnership and the broader European Neighborhood region. VSPS + Balkans initiative is an extension of current activities of the Visegrad School of Political Studies (VSPS), promoting experiences of V4 democratic transition, European integration and cooperation to young political, social and governmental leaders from Western Balkan countries. The VSPS + Western Balkans was addressed to 16 participants from Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia. VSPS Meets Russia is the newest program of the Visegrad School of Political Studies that aims at supporting civil society, combating stereotypes and strengthening ties between young social and political leaders from Visegrad Group and Russia. Thank to generous support of the Council of Europe and the Department of Public and Cultural Democracy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland the program is full scholarship initiative. #FLEX is now in Poland and the EAD is an official partners of the American Councils for International Education #FLEX Program (Future Leaders Exchange Program) was created by the United States Congress in 1992. It established a year-long, fully funded exchange program for secondary school students to travel to the United States for a year. Now in its twenty-third year, the FLEX academic year program has provided scholarships to over 24,000 secondary school students from Europe, Eurasia, and Central Asia.
