Last weekend we hosted the 7th session of the Academy of Young Diplomats. Friday schedule included a meeting with group of local Russian social activists who spoke about the challenges civil society is facing in Russia and the future Russia – West relations. During the main Friday seminar titled “Can International Organizations Provide for Security of its Members?” the participants discussed the international security architecture with Amb. Adam Kobieracki, former NATO Assistant Secretary General for Operations. Saturday main lecture “Revamping the EU Project: the Role of Polish Foreign Policy” was delivered by Dr. Rafał Trzaskowski, Member of Polish Parliament and former MEP. Saturday afternoon and Sunday were filled with series of hands-on workshops on national branding, public diplomacy, business tools in public administration, diplomatic protocol, how to prepare a good CV for a brilliant job interview.
