AYD meeting with President Mary Robinson
On December 2nd the new students of our flagship leadership and diplomatic program – the Academy of Young Diplomats (AYD) – will begin their adventure by meeting one of the most extraordinary women leaders in the world – Mrs. Mary Robinson – President of Ireland (1990-1997) and United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (1997-2002).
V4 in Europe Program
We are proud to announce the launch our new initiative focused on the European integration and the Visegrad Group – V4 in EUROPE. The program is dedicated to aspiring experts in the field of European affairs, who want to deepen and share their knowledge, join the international network of young leaders of the Council of Europe and act as speakers during a conference at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow.

7th Session of the Academy of Young Diplomats
Last weekend we hosted the 7th session of the Academy of Young Diplomats. Friday schedule included a meeting with group of local Russian social activists who spoke about the challenges civil society is facing in Russia and the future Russia – West relations.

Scholarships for the European Diplomacy Workshop awarded !
Only until 19 February you can apply for the scholarships to take part in the upcoming European Diplomacy Workshop: EU Foreign Policy Analysis! The program will be held on 27 March – 1 April.

The upcoming session of the Academy of Young Diplomats will host Professor Mark Galeotti who will lead opening seminar titled „Europe after the Annexation of Crimea – A New Challenge or a New Security Order?”

On 14th of January 2017 the European Academy of Diplomacy and Konrad Adenauer Stiftung organized, in cooperation with Jagiellonian University, international conference „The EU Migration & Refugee Crisis” which gathered more than 200 young leaders from 40 countries.

Last weekend, around 150 participants took part in first session of Academy of Young Diplomats. On Friday all participants took part in the orientation session, discussed main features of the program and had a chance to meet the European Academy of Diplomacy team.

We are pleased to announce the closing of recruitment for the 11th edition of the Academy of Young Diplomats. The second round of recruitment collected more than 250 applications, from which 100 will be chosen to join the EAD’s annual diplomatic program.
